Fundraising Hosted by Others:
As we embark on our own fundraising efforts, many in the community have expressed interested in planning their own events with one of our campaigns as the beneficiary of their efforts. Be creative! Here are some ideas, and you can do them anywhere! Keep it simple or make it big!
Small donations add up, so don't think anything is too small! Please contact us so we can list you below and depending on your event we can help get the word out if you need assistance.

- Host your own dinner/wine tasting/BBQ/backyard picnic, invite your friends and have them make a contribution to the park.
- Ask your running club, civic group, scouting troop, kayak club, dog park friends, to do something to raise funds for the future.
- Have a jeans Friday at your office, charge everyone $5 and donate the money to one of our funds.
- Have a yard sale and donate the profits or a % of them.
- Gather your stroller group that walks the park, plan a day at the picnic shelter and have everyone make a donation. (Think about how cool it will be when the playground is there!)
- Check with your employer to see if they have a matching funds program that will match what you contribute.
- Are you tapped into folks that are Historic Lovers? Host an evening at your house and do something fun. Make the money your raised dedicated to the Preservation Fund!
